The Altai State University is one of the pioneers in Russia in the development of new technologies. Suffice it to say that the Internet appeared in 1994, and in 1995 the university site was created being the 7-th in Russia and the 4th in the system of education. And we keep developing new technologies.

Internal University Network

Currently, the university has three computer networks - a single corporate network Altai State University, combining fiber optic cable, five educational buildings and more than 1000 computers (of which 37 Internet servers), and a network of botanical gardens, Faculty of prevocational training and branch networks. Continuing to develop the corporate network provides a modern telecommunications infrastructure of the University.
